JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Music is looking for a dependable Work-Study student(s). Students need to have computer skills, preferably Word and Excel as well as familiarity with platforms such as Constant Contact, and access to the internet for basic searches. General office work, such as, assisting with filing, making copies, moving files, etc., is also needed. Excellent communication skills are a must since this work will be done independently under the supervision of School of Music staff or faculty. Students should be able to handle general office work and jobs as assigned in a timely manner.

Job Duties:

· Provide School of Music facilities tours

· Edit and expand contact lists

· Other office duties, as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Penn State Student with eligible Work Study Award.

Office Clerks Office Assistant

As Office Assistants, we give administrative, secretarial, and clerical support to others and maintain an effectively running office environment. We are tasked with the responsibilities of coordinating and maintaining staff administrative records. As Office Assistants, we provide assistance with event planning and implementation. We also coordinate and arrange appointments and meetings. We are involved in the updating and maintenance of the internal staff contact list. We are found running work-related errands such as going to the post office or going to the bank. We are tasked with coordinating with different departments and reserving conference rooms and equipment for visiting customers and staff meetings.
