HVAC Technician
Position is primary responsible for maintaining area housing Commission’s heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) systems providing a controlled climatic environment for residents, and staff.
This position performs work necessary to repair/rebuild, service/operate and adjust HVAC. This position maintains logs and reports of equipment status, repairs or planned maintenance (PM).
The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.
Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree 2 (2) years’ experience working in the trade or successful completion of a HVAC program in lieu of experience Must be Freon certified Demonstrates excellent technical. Must possess FL DL.
