Position Function
The position is responsible for maintaining financial, administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements for the County. This position is a highly responsible administrative position involving the coordination and/or direction of county government operations. Applicant will carry out the general policies of the Board in conformity with estimate of expenditures fixed in the annual budget as finally adopted by the Board or as revised by the Board.
Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the County. Assist in organizing all county affairs falling under the control of the Bolivar County Board of Supervisors and establishes objectives, standards, control measures within the context of the broad, general policy guidelines for departments under his or her control. These duties include but are not limited to: budget planning, work projections, purchasing acquisition, cost control, personnel management goals and more.
Successful candidate must reside in Bolivar County or be willing to relocate within 90 days of selection and must be able to begin work two weeks after being selected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Requirements
Applicant must have the knowledgeable experience and requisite skills in following broad activity areas that will evaluate achievement:
- Oversee all County departments, offices, and other administrative units.
- Ensure that all relevant laws, provisions of the county are faithfully executed and is compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and ordinances.
- Maintain preparation of the budget by implementing financial policies and procedures,
- Ensure that all orders, resolutions and regulations of the Board of Supervisors are faithfully executed.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
Minimum Education
Education Bachelor’s Degree Business Administrative, Public
Administrative or related field
Master’s Degree (Preferred)
Experience (yrs) Five (5) of relevant experience

Salary Range: Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
