College Township, Pennsylvania Due to retirement, College Township seeks experienced candidates to perform highly responsible administrative and professional work overseeing the engineering, planning, and zoning functions of the Township. As a Department Head under administrative direction of the Township Manager, the Township Engineer oversees the review of all subdivision/land development plans, inspection of developments, traffic engineering studies, zoning site plans, and utility/right-of-way permits. Responsible for the Township's stormwater management program. Serves as technical representative at Council and Planning Commission meetings.
Works extensively and collaboratively with the Public Works Director to perform inspections, and to plan, budget for, and execute projects as well as interface with the public. College Township, population 10,030, is home to many Pennsylvania State University facilities and boasts an outstanding quality of life in a growing, highly educated community. Applicants shall possess a valid driver's license, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and five or more years relative work experience. Must have or be able to obtain a Professional Engineering License in PA. Full benefit package including defined contribution pension. Salary up to $98,000 commensurate with experience.
