Cosmetology Instructor:
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology is accepting applications for a permanent full-time Cosmetology Instructor beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. Candidates must have a PA Cosmetology Teacher’s license and be eligible to be a program Supervisor. Interested candidates should possess at least four years’ work experience in the field. Act 34, 151, Federal Act 114 and Act 168 clearances, and school health physical with TB test are required prior to the first day of employment. About the School
The Academy was built in 1968. The educational complex is situated on approximately twenty acres and consists of the 81,136 square foot school and an annex of 1,966 square feet. Most instructional areas include both classroom and laboratory/shop areas.
The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology is owned and operated by the Mifflin County School District. Students in grade 10, 11, and 12 from one of three sending high schools comprise the school's population.
