Preschool Teacher 2 (Infant/Toddler Teacher)
The Child Care Center at Hort Woods, on the University Park campus, is seeking a candidate for an Infant/Toddler teacher (working with children infant - 3 years old) committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for young children and families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting and maintaining high quality classroom standards in a laboratory setting
- Coordinating and implementing an innovative curriculum model with a team of colleagues
- Establishing and maintaining relationships of cooperation and respect with all co-workers, supervisors, and families
- Providing oversight and training of interns and student teachers in early childhood education undergraduate programs
- Maintaining standards in accordance with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and PA Keystone STARS 4 quality standards

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position requires the following clearances:
PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR). A health physical with TB test is also required prior to starting the position.
