Faculty, Dental Hygiene
The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership, student instruction, and student advising in Dental Hygiene at both on and off campus sites. They will provide didactic, clinical and preclinical instruction and evaluate student performance in dental hygiene courses offered in the Associate and Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene programs. Position to start August 2023.
Minimum education and experience:
- Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Master’s Degree in Dental Hygiene, Education or related discipline.
- Three (3) years experience equivalent to three (3) days per week or more in a dental hygiene practice.
- Evidence of recent successful classroom teaching or clinical teaching experience in dental hygiene education.
Minimum abilities and skills include, but not limited to:
- Possession of or eligibility for a dental hygiene license in Pennsylvania.
- Possession of or eligibility for local anesthesia certification in Pennsylvania.
- Knowledge of current concepts of dental hygiene, clinical instruction, and evaluation
