Wellness Education Coordinator
This person will be responsible for primary leadership of a coordinated, strategic approach to educational programming in health and wellness areas that are of significant issue to Penn College students, with particular emphasis on holistic wellness and mental health. In addition, the Wellness Education Coordinator will address health issues including, but not limited to, healthy relationships, diversity and social justice, bystander intervention, holistic self-care, and dimensions of wellness. This individual oversees campus prevention and education services including training, coordination, and supervision of a peer education program; developing and implementing curricula and training models focused on wellness and related topics; and providing education for all members of the campus community (faculty, staff, and students) regarding wellness and well-being in all its forms. The selected candidate will have Two (2) years of full time or part-time experience or equivalent working in higher education or a community-based organization related to health promotion, mental health, suicide prevention, or a related area of health and wellness. This is a temporary position to start as soon as feasible, and continue through September 29, 2024. This is a grant funded position with the possibility of continuation if the grant is renewed.
