Purdue University Northwest (PNW) invites nominations or applications for Chancellor. The next Chancellor will join the entire PNW community at a time of great excitement, momentum, and change, providing outstanding leadership and serving as its ambassador.

Purdue University Northwest (PNW), a premier metropolitan university located in Northwest Indiana, is dedicated to empowering transformational change in its students on its two campuses in Hammond and Westville, Indiana. Part of the Purdue University system and offering more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree programs to nearly 8,900 students, PNW is committed to academic excellence, supports growth, and celebrates diversity. PNW has more than 70,000 alumni. In 2016, PNW was approved by the Higher Learning Commission after the unification of Purdue University Calumet and Purdue University North Central.

PNW’s Hammond campus is located only 30 miles from Chicago with the Westville branch campus just 15 miles from the Indiana Dunes National Park. Applicants are encouraged to submit materials electronically by the target date of October 13, 2023, to PNWChancellor@agbsearch.com and should include: 1) a letter of interest based on the Leadership Profile, specifically Professional and Personal Qualifications, Characteristics, and Core Pillars for the Chancellor, which describes the candidate’s relevant experience in light of PNW’s needs; 2) a current curriculum vitae, and, 3) names and email addresses of five references (please specify your professional relationship with each). All candidate names will remain confidential until finalists are identified during the latter stages of the search.
