The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified individual to conduct investigations related to the processing of complaints against attorneys and allegations of unauthorized practice of law. The successful candidate must be able to produce comprehensive well-written investigatory reports and have excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and a vehicle available for daily business individual to use to meet with witnesses, obtain evidence and testify when necessary.
Salary Range: $57,198 - $74,274/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY: Two (2) years of experience in law enforcement or in related criminal justice or investigative work, or a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Candidates must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and a vehicle available for daily business use.
