INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
Duties: Assist with configuring and troubleshooting IT computer hardware, software, and networking technologies in a variety of local and remote locations.
Requirements: Must have one year of related work experience and the computer skills sufficient to configure window based computer equipment domain images; configure and utilize Virtual Private Networks (VPN); and utilize remote access industry standards and hard drive encryption standards such as Microsoft BitLocker. This position has physical requirements including moving and installing monitors, printers, and workstations, running cabling, etc. It also requires the ability to lift between 25-35 lbs., and to stand, stoop and bend.
Salaries start at $16 - $38 per hour – Additional locality pay may be added. Mandatory weekend and evening hours Overtime paid for work over 40 hours per week. Requires extended periods of travel.

These temporary positions are for approximately 30-90 days. Candidates are required to travel to a disaster site and may encounter hazardous working and/or living conditions, i.e., no water or electricity and/or minimal lodging facilities. Travel expenses are compensated based on SBA policy and federal regulations.
