IT System Administrator II

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an IT System Administrator II for the Office of OneIT. The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience with Linux systems administration.

Essential Job Duties: This position is responsible for supporting the operation of the Research Computing facilities including systems management and maintenance, developing and deploying upgraded capability, and interacting with and supporting users. The position is also responsible for supporting the technical design and strategy development.
